WHO ARE WE?
Coordination for the zapatista journey in the greek territory – Our Principles
The general principles of our bottom-up movement for the realization of the journey are openness, direct democracy, equal participation among individuals and groups, cooperation in solidarity. As our common point is the struggle to destroy capitalism, our network is set up beyond bosses, political parties and institutions of power, public or private (e.g. for-profit organizations, NGOs, etc.).
The collective principles of operation, also, arise from the characteristics of the action of those who participate in network: our struggles (always with a horizontal and anti-institutional organization) against capitalism, patriarchy, racism, sexism, militarism, nationalism, in defense of the nature and the Earth, for the self-organization of production, for libertarian education, for health as a whole, for liberating creativity, for self-management across the spectrum of everyday life, for the emergence of a new type of culture, through this struggle against power and capital, through a global struggle that takes on local characteristics and is enriched by them.
Our principles and mode of operation, finally, are in line with the 3 points of agreement of the Jan. 1, 2021 Declaration for Life and the 7 principles of operation of the CNI and the EZLN.
